Hello! I am the salon owner, Jessie Jean and stylist at Luna Love Holistic Hair Studio. I opened Luna Love right smack in the middle of a pandemic! I took a leap of faith and it has been incredible! My faith and trust led me towards one of my biggest accomplishments. I am grateful!
My father has been a hairstylist for over 30 years on the south shore of Long Island. I was his sidekick at his shop. He inspired me to go to beauty school then I worked by his side for many years!
My family has been super supportive and I feel super grateful for the support I have from my friends, family and my community.
After many years in the beauty industry I knew that the only way I was going to continue is if I found a healthier way. Discovering organic hair color and products has changed my life! I will never turn back!
I opened Luna Love Holistic Hair Studio in December of 2020 despite of the pandemic bc people still need to get their hair done. I specialize in custom haircuts, Reiki haircuts as well as organic coloring services and Reiki healing. I have a passion for wellness, organic living and holistic practices. I graduated from Heartstone Herbal School and gained a nutritional certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
When I am not at the salon I am playing with my incredible daughter Chloe Rae, dancing, hiking, gathering with my community or playing with my two adorable kitties. I am teaching my daughter the importance of what she puts into and on her body. She is my inspiration to bring healthier beauty options to my community. The health of our youth is extremely important and we are the role models. I'm an affiliate for The Holistic Hair Tribe, bringing organic and non toxic products to your door. I also love making herbal teas, cooking delicious, nutritious foods for my family, dancing and music.
